any good easy accoustic guitar songs? tabs/sheet music? I can already play easy-to-intermediate accoustic guitar, but now I would like some new material to try. Where can i get free sheet music for guitar? I have only recently started playing guitar and don't have that great of a guitar. I want some quick, easy, free tabs/sheetmusic so i can get better. What are some easy guitar songs for a 6th month beginner? I have access to an electric and an acoustic, can read tab and know most of the chords (still getting the knack of barre chords) i play most genres, except full country i have already tried (and somewhat succeeded at): stairway to heaven one mama said free bird (chords) hotel california (chords) and other random improvisations all suggestions welcome

How to read guitar tabs? I would classify myself as an advanced beginner on guitar--I know a few songs, can switch chords well, can sing while playing, and can even fingerpick very well, but only if someone physically teaches me the song. I have tried looking at tabs, and while I understand the general concept (the numbers tell you the fret and where they are tell you the string) but whenever I try to actually play them, they sound wrong and I don't know quite what I'm doing wrong. The numbers always seem too close together so I can't tell sometimes which string is played first, and tabs don't seem to give you the rhythm of the picking. Can anyone try to explain them better or does anyone know of a free website that will teach you how to read tabs well? I'm pretty frustrated that I just can't get it, especially when other guitar players continually say, "They're so easy!" The particular song I am looking for, I guess, is "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" by Bob Dylan, but really I'd like to learn in general as there are other songs I'd like to learn but for some reason can't figure out tabs. Slayertplsko: I was taught classically how to play the guitar. I can read standard notion for the guitar, and have a history of vocal training which has also taught me how to read music. That's not the issue here. I am wanting to know how to better read tabs, since they are more widely available and thus easier to obtain and are most of the time free. Guitar tab sites on the net - why??!? Why are they shutting them down? The publishers have got away with murder in the past, now they're complaining because people won't buy their junk? Why should I fork out $20 just to see one interpretation of a tab? And how are they winning all these legal battles when the internet is supposed to be about free information? Most of the tabs on the net are wrong, sure - but at least you got to learn different ways to play, especially if it's out of your league and you need an easy version. How can they shut down tabs when I can download any song I want off the internet for free anyway (via net or limewire) ? Isn't this ridiculous?

Can I write/record a good song with no real talent or expensive programs? What is the process of writing a song? Do most artists write the lyrics first and then the melody, or the other way around? How do you write lyrics? Good excersices to gain dexerity and technique in guitar? Im an intremediate guitar player, and i can play easy solos like hotel california, stairway to heaven or november rain... but i want to take to the next level and play solos like free bird or songs like la grange or cliffs of dover. I am just learning the acoustic guitar? I got an acoustic guitar for my birthday in May. Over the summer my g/f really wanted me to learn that Plain White T's song 'Delilah.' But where can I go to find easy tabs...like easy ones...i go to Fretplay but really want to learn more...like hammer pulls and stuff. help with piano stuff plz!? I am self taught guitar, i read tabs and know all the chords. I am trying to learn just a few lousy songs on my keyboard but i cant find any free music that is easy to read like guitar tabs. It seems like the only way i can learn these songs is to actually learn to play the piano and read sheet music and then buy sheet music. I only want to learn 2 songs, must i learn to read sheet music and purchase it in order to play, or is there an easier way? Thank you for your help. I do know how to sight read music for vocals, and i get that it is the same basic concept, but how do you convert that to piano? People try to teach me how to read for piano starting from scratch, and its like learning a foreign language. is there any way to convert vocal to piano?

Hard Acoustic Songs? EASY TEN POINTS!? Hey I've been playing guitar for a while and have learned songs like Airtap, Driftin by Andy Mckee, Midsummers Daydream, just a lot of instrumentals, so what are some really hard acoustic songs ( prefferably songs that have free tabs).

A mac program that can slow down a song without changing pitch? heres the catch...... Thats Free???? Programs like these make songs with bad quality and fast guitars much much easier to tab out and play to. I had a program called amazing slow downer when i had a pc (which was a ***** to find btw...) but i lost all the programs and the pc altogether, so now im looking for something similar for a mac. Now it's VERY IMPORTANT that the slowing down will not change the pitch! That pretty much ruins its use at figuring out a song. What are some popular songs I could play on my acoustic guitar? I try to bring my guitar into school fairly often to play during and after for my friends. Of course I realize a large variety of music would be best because my friends definitely don't listen to the same music. So what are some well known songs that people know lyrics to already, or the lyrics are easy to catch on to? Any and every genre of music would be appreciated, from country, to rap, to rock, and even classical (for my own personal gain on the last one.) I can play the guitar reasonably well, i won't brag on that, but i can pick up songs fairly fast so don't worry about level of difficulty. Learning the piano........? Basically I've been wanting to learn the Piano for some time and I recently obtained a Keyboard for free and I guess now's a good time? I'm not exactly new to instruments I already play Guitar and Bass but I pretty sure that won't help me, right? Anyways, one to my main questions. I could use a keyboard to learn right? I mean, I know I could get the basic feel but I would like to learn a song or so before going after a real piano to see if I like it or not. The keyboard has 35 white keys and 25 black ones. Another Question I have is how hard is it? I mean I know it's not going to be easy but like it's not impossible right? I don't have alot of money to spare to take lessons and I would be just trying to scrape the basics I would need to know off the internet... Would this be ok? And I guess the last one is does anyone know a good site I could learn off of for free? Like looks for tabs (Is it called tabs like for guitars or is it sheet music?) and lessons. I'm not talking theory or anything just how to place my hands and whatnot. Thanks for all answers ahead of time. Oh, one more question!
